The 27th of April 2017 was the official opening of the New Terminal 2 at OSLO Airport. The Vanderlande service team had already been providing service to the existing Terminal 1 system since the airport was opened in 1998. With the new Terminal we needed to grow in our team size and this introduced many new colleagues and gave a boost of energy to the team in addition to a new system to learn. The arrivals in Terminal 2 was taken into operations already in the last quarter of 2016.
It was a fantastic experience to be part of both the project testing with Avinor and the organisation growth and onboarding of new employees. The part I remember most was working with great colleagues, all joining on the goal of success. Especially dear is the memory of the support felt from the project team in the transition to service collaboration between Projects and Service and the dedication from the O&M team.
